Behind the scenes peeks. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege (and occasional chaos) of working on all sorts of projects—big-budget, low-budget, no-budget, theme park spectacles, live events, one-offs, TV shows, commercials, movies, tiny theatre productions, and massive stage extravaganzas. Basically, if it involves puppets, creatures, or bringing characters to life, I’ve probably dabbled in it.

Along the way, I’ve amassed a mountain of photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments—some educational, some downright ridiculous, and some that are just too good not to share. So, I figured… why not start a blog? Maybe people will learn something, maybe they’ll just enjoy the ride, or maybe it’ll serve as a cautionary tale of what not to do.

This blog will feature:

• Anecdotes from the workshop and beyond
• Behind-the-scenes footage of builds, designs, and productions
• Old projects, new projects, and those in-between moments
• Things that are fun to share but maybe not quite “portfolio material”
• General ramblings about the craft and industry

As this blogg (yes, two g’s, because im fancy) grows, I hope you’ll find fun stories, interesting tidbits, and maybe even some useful lessons. Expect tutorials and advice for anyone seeking to make things—not just puppets, but all sorts of creative builds.
