Bringing Sneak Energy’s Bunny Logo to Life as a Puppet
We love projects that push us creatively and technically — and this one was a real treat. Sneak Energy, the fast-growing gaming energy drink brand, wanted to see what would happen if their bold bunny logo jumped off the screen and into the real world. The answer? A brand-new puppet mascot, designed and built in our workshop, ready to star in adverts, social media content, and live events.
Designing a Brand Mascot Puppet
The brief was clear: create a puppet that was instantly recognisable as the Sneak Bunny while giving it the movement, personality, and durability to perform across multiple platforms. We designed and built a hand and rod puppet, constructed with robust materials for high-energy filming and live appearances, while still delivering a sleek and fun finish that matched the brand.
A Collaborative Production
This was a proper team effort:
-
Christopher Barlow – Puppet designer, builder, head of department, lead puppeteer, and voice of the bunny. Helena Rose supported in fabrication.
-
Emily Morus Jones – Assistant puppeteer, bringing precision and extra character to the performance.
-
Alex Nicholson – Writer and director, shaping the adverts with sharp humour and style.
On Set and On Screen
Once built, the puppet quickly proved itself in action. As lead puppeteer, I performed the voice and main character work, with Emily supporting to add extra life and timing. The combination allowed the bunny to deliver the same cheeky, energetic personality Sneak fans know from the brand’s identity — but now in a fully physical, interactive form.
The resulting adverts and short-form videos will roll out across Sneak Energy’s social channels and website, with the puppet also set to appear at future events and activations.
Why This Project Matters
This project demonstrates the power of puppetry in modern brand storytelling. A well-crafted puppet mascot can bridge digital and live experiences, turning a static logo into a character that fans can laugh with, share online, and even meet in person.
It also shows the versatility of what we do: whether it’s for advertising, brand activations, theme parks, cruise lines, or live entertainment, we specialise in building puppets and mascots that connect with audiences and deliver real impact.
And if you’re a Sneak fan — keep an eye on their socials, because the bunny is just getting started.

About Me:
Chris Barlow Puppets and Creatures is a Ltd Company. I design, illustrate, sculpt and fabricate creating engaging characters for TV, film, theme parks, resorts and theatre. I have a performance background as both an actor and puppeteer. So when I develop characters and build puppets I always approach the project from the point of view of the performer. Due to this I strive to build characters that are engaging and believable, whilst making them a joy to perform. Allowing the puppeteer to get the maximum and most versatile performance out of them.
I have worked in puppets and creature FX for a number of years; spanning TV, Film, theatre and online mediums.
